When the Vice President Her Excellency Mrs. Isatou Njie Saidy visited the Trust during the opening ceremony, she was impressed by the work done by the schools through the assistance of Kingfisher Trust.

During the week ending 10th April 1998, Kingfisher Trust participated in the National Livestock Show organised by the Department of Livestock at Abuko. Participating in the special exhibition on invitation, the Trust exhibited so many items including products made by student from schools that are being assisted by the Trust. Most of the exhibits came from The President's Award Scheme, the technical department of Latri-kunda junior Secondary School, Tuti Faal Jammeh Future Development School and Tambasansang ECE Centre, Manduar village.

When the Vice President Her Excellency Mrs. Isatou Njie Saidy visited the Trust during the opening ceremony, she was impressed by the work done by the schools through the assistance of Kingfisher Trust.

Later that same day the Trust held a meeting with the Farmers Association on possible ways helping farmers wives with skills that will enhance their economic productivity. During the meeting Secretary General told the farmers that in the last couple years trust has been helping communities mainly in the Rural Areas
